This week we chat with Gridlock Festival main guy Jeremy McNeil about the creation of a brand new music fest in Halifax. We hope it’s successful, but the lack of fiddle music and Keith’s doesn’t fill us with hope. Still, if indie rock, comedy, craft beer and food trucks appeal to you, you have one week to snap up tickets.

Plus, cops. And drugs. And money. We know where the former are (hauled in front of the Board of Commissioners). The other two? Good question.

  1. Well evidence missing? I know of a case that involved many HRM Police and the Halifax RCMP as well. It contains stories of non existent files, to well they existed but now they are gone, to someone has the non-existent files to the files being incomplete to sorry they are gone again. Several RCMP members and HRM Police members don’t even have their own and a set of personal notes except two. The problem with police here is not just the evidence lockers, it is all through the ranks. The evidence locker is all they have been caught on thus far. Trust me more is to come of this. A firefighter from this city has been damaged beyond repair just because of the ‘ thin blue line’. Instigated by the same family name involved in a very serious miscarriage of justice from a murder case in Dartmouth years ago.
