The Halifax Examiner has qualified for the Digital News Subscription Tax Credit. See here for details.

To see a description of each level, please click the Select buttons. You won’t be charged yet.

We have three categories:

  1. Personal Subscriptions (#1-10): Monthly and annual levels for one person or two family members
  2. Business/Government Agency (includes organizations, senators, MPs and politicians) (#11-15): Monthly and annual levels, with extra features
  3. Classroom or Academic Group (#15-16): Annual levels only

Important: All levels have the same access to articles — the only difference is your level of support.

Plus One levels include two separate usernames and two passwords — for family only, please.

If you’re unsure which level or payment method is best for you, please email Iris. She’s always happy to help.

Please save your receipts. Credit card receipts are sent automatically to your email inbox each month (or year, for annual subscriptions.) These receipts include a link to download a PDF version. If they’re not in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder. PayPal payments get a receipt via PayPal. E-transfers get a receipt from Iris.

Annual credit card subscriptions are automatically renewing. To set an expiry date, please contact Iris after you sign up. No credit card? No problem! You can mail a cheque to: Halifax Examiner, PO Box 463, Halifax Central Halifax, NS B3J 2P8. For e-transfers, please contact IrisFor PayPal, there are three options in the drop-down menu at the bottom of this page. For other subscription levels via PayPal, or questions, please contact Iris.

We do not offer a free trial, and your first payment is made when you subscribe; it covers your first month, or year, of your subscription. Thanks for understanding.

Subscribe via PayPal here. Once you’ve made your payment, contact Iris and she’ll set up the subscription. Thank you!
