This week, Halifax unveiled its new budget. Money abounds for Blue Sky projects like, say, a sports stadium. Council opted to keep the snowclearing budget the same, though. The plan may be to save on ice removal costs next year by simply converting Spring Garden Road into a luge run.

Also, Nova Scotia’s film industry’s been granted a reprieve of sorts, and protesters were back in front of Province House this week, this time demonstrating against Bill-100.
