Just two new cases of COVID-19 are announced in Nova Scotia today (Saturday, Dec. 19).
Both are related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada — one is Nova Scotia Health’s Western Zone, and the second is in the Eastern Zone, in the Eskasoni First Nation community.
There are now 46 known active cases in the province. No one is currently in hospital with the disease.
Nova Scotia Health labs conducted 1,111 tests yesterday.
