Five new cases of COVID-19 are announced in Nova Scotia today (Monday).
Two cases are in Nova Scotia Health’s Central Zone; one is related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada and the other is still under investigation.
Two cases are in the Western Zone; both are close contacts of previously reported cases.
There is one new case in the Northern Zone and is a close contact of a previously reported case
There are now 57 known active cases in the province. No one is currently in hospital with the disease.
Nova Scotia Health labs conducted 1,209 tests yesterday.
